Hamilton Ontario Waterfalls
"An easy, family-friendly hike over streams and through the forested trails open up to the impressive Tiffany Falls. Ice climbers visit in the winter when the falls are frozen, and families are awed with the falls after the spring melt when they’re at their most grand. If you want to continue the hike once you’ve viewed the falls, the connecting Bruce Trail provides a longer walk."

"Of the more than 100 waterfalls known to be located on the Niagara Escarpment, many of the most picturesque can be found within the city limits of Hamilton. The most popular of these is the spectacular Albion Falls, also known as "lover's leap." Standing nearly 20 meters tall, this cascade falls is located where the fast flowing Red Hill Creek flows over the escarpment, along the way passing over a number of downward steps that add significantly to the appeal. Some of the best views can be had from King's Forest Park."

"We carried on west (we’re up on the Escarpment, for those keeping track) to go and see Chedoke Falls. Unfortunately, we hadn’t planned that well because we didn’t realize you couldn’t see Chedoke Falls because it’s off Scenic Drive (the road). Instead, you need to pull off into Balfour Park or come at it from the Bruce Trail to the north and follow the water in the reserve direction of the flow."

Standing at 22 metres tall in the Spencer Gorge Conservation Area, the classic plunge-style waterfall boasts one of the most beautiful vistas in the entire region. It is more correct to say it is just overshadowed by the more popular Albion Falls which is less than 1 minute up the road by car.
