"A post shared by mr_dockins (@mr_dockins) on Jun 15, 2019 at 4:50pm PDT. Miku waterfront first introduced Vancouver to Aburi pressed sushi over a decade ago in 2008 and ever since then, we cannot get enough of the flame-seared pressed sushi. The Salmon Oshi Sushi is by far the most popular and begins with a base of seasoned rice that then gets a thin piece of fresh salmon on top and finished with a thin slice of jalapeño."

"Arrive early to this popular, no-reservations sushi house off of Main Street—a lineup is inevitable. This neighbourhood hotspot is known for serving fresh seafood in a casual, no-frills environment. At Toshi Sushi, it’s hard to order wrong; queue up a few of your raw fish favourites, and be sure to order the gin tara saikyo yaki (a buttery, miso-marinated grilled cod) and the nasu dengaku (miso-glazed eggplant, baked and caramelized to sweet, smoky perfection)—they’re crowd favourites for a reason."

The Best Sushi Spots In Metro Vancouver According to Local Foodies
"I'm thankful for places like @sushicalivan that provide decent sushi at student-friendly prices 🙏 📸: Sushi Pizza, Salmon Battera, Calamari Crunch Roll, Salmon Mountain Roll, and B.C. Roll Out of all the items here, the only one I did not like was the Salmon Battera, which had way too much rice and not enough salmon. Not pictured is the Salmon Sashimi, which I highly recommend because they give you 5 big pieces for less than $7 (half portion) 😋 What are some other good, cheap sushi places in Vancouver?"
